Prague 1

Travel day.  Goodbye Greece, hello Prague.  I feel unbelievably fortunate to be on our way to be with the 31 of us.  31 Flavors.  My first job.  Fitting.  If not 31, then close, I'm going with it.   We flew Austrian Airlines from Greece to Vienna to Prague.  Never been on Austrian Airlines.  They played Shindler's List.
Evan was also excited for the 31
The boys sang take me out to the ballgame.  Every country loves a good hot dog.  Vienna dog.
Landed in Prague and got picked up in style.  Thank you Lisa and Josh (Bar Mitzvah Hosts)
We are staying at the Inter Continental very close to the river.  Great location.  Initial thoughts are this town rocks.  A combo between modern and historic.  I don't know much about Prague yet. Stay tuned.

Blig Shout Out to Alex and Kelly Fiance who "Family 1st'd" and made their honeymoon a family event. FYI "Blig" is a cross between Blog and Big.  I learned the term in my blogging class.

After check - in we headed out to town and ran into Rob Fiance.  I agree with his message.  Rob is great with chalk. Who knew?
Lisa and Josh hosted a welcome dinner for the 31 + Linda Taub and Aunts and Uncles.  Amazing kick off.  Josh gave the toast and sounded as good as he did when he co-officiated Alex and Kelly's wedding.  He has a way with words.

Mark and I decided to have a bald spot off during his toast.  We are a very competitive family.
The 31 + 6 = 37 (Welcome Taub Family) at dinner.  So happy I am not paying.

Asher, Aunt and Straw
Guess what they served for dessert?  Yep.  Mark distributed balls too the whole family. Chocolate covered balls this time.  What a treat to be able share balls with everyone.

After dinner we hit the river and boarded the Natal Porto.  It was named after a famous Czech, Nate Portman.  He too was bar mitzvah'd in the temple where we will celebrate Asher's.  The voyage has historic significance.
Trevor and Delaney decided to kick off the voyage celebration.  That's a 31 Tall.
I got a late start because I wanted to make 100% sure, I did not put things in Nate Porto's toilet that did not belong.  No razors and other things.  I studied the sign.  Someone sucks at Pictionary.
The voyage was a success.

After the river ride, some headed into town for a night cap.  We ended up in an Irish bar called Cafferey's.  It was named after Steven Caffereysteingold, the 1st Irish Jew in Prague.
We all sang Sweet Caroline which reminded me of my wedding song to Wendy.  Everyone...

"Sweet Sunshine. Even mornings you look good.
You are so fine, when I see you I get wood.
So good. So wood. So good"

We did experience one Bloss.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Feinberg's who loss their dog last night.  RIP Coco, you will be missed.
All and all a solid lead off night.  Thanks Josh and Lisa.  I love not buying dinner.  Mykonos ain't cheep.  Sweet Sunshine...Swans are swimming, I'm feeling good, so good, so good, so good.
