Day 3


Hi from Mykonos.  I just had a bottle of Ouzo.  It's pronounced Ouzo.  I don't like licorice, but for some reason I like Ouzo.

Big Mistake.  Go to jail.  Do not pass Go.  Visit Cosby.  No Ouzo for you, you piece of shit.  Your true feelings come out on Ouzo.  Hopefully, Harvey will never be able to go to Liberty.

We loved Liberty for breakfast.  If you get to Greece ask for Dimitrious.  Harvey can learn some manners from D.  D and I  are on a first letter basis.

After Liberty we went to "And Justice For All."  My kids did not laugh at that joke.  I thought it was funny.  Actually, we took a ride to a famous Mykonos beach called Scorpios.  I'm a Scorpio.  I also can act scared
The roads are tight and our driver may have been on Ouzo.  He definitely needed a shower. 
I love the Greeks, but some don't love the shower. 

I actually feel a bond here.  My family is part Greek.  Wendy is an Alpha Phi, I'm a Zeta Beta Tau, and Julia is a Chi-O.
Today, we had a Greece beach day.  In Greece apparently to go to a beach club you need to dress up.
Or at least that is what Amy told Max.  Max was the best dressed at the beach.  According to him, not an award he wants to win again.  There was one woman who won for least dressed.  Brad, Max, Reid and I barely noticed. 


Scorpios Rule   

After Scorpios and Max's costume change we headed into the town of Mykonos.  Very cool town with shops and restaurants
Those are the famous Windmills of Mykonos.  They don't move.  Windmills that don't move are called Mills.  Max's costume change and sis enjoying the spirits. 
Here are Julia and Reid faking they are not bickering.  Sister back from college for summer.  Reid having to get adjusted.  Me having to listen to them...
After a snack, we enjoyed a Greece Sunset.  Sunsets never get old.

Alex, our Scorpio cabana boy, recommended a local restaurant close to our hotel.  It's called

It was really good.  This is where I had the bottle of Ouzo and now going to bed. 

One last thought before I crash.  Do you think Samantha Bee calling Avanka the C word a Sorry, No Sorry or BM?

Hi everyone.  It's blog time.  I love to blog our trips to capture moments, provide recommendations to others, and to remind myself how lucky I am.  We've had a whirlwind couple days.  It started Friday with the Fiance Disco Pre-Wedding Night Party.  Rob and Beth won for best outfit. That was actually their wedding photo.  I wasn't invited to their wedding years ago, but I did get the invite to Alex and Kelly's.  It was an amazing event. I love this pic.  I love this couple.  Wedding crowds are similar to ice cream crowds.  Everyone's in a great mood.  Except if they're out of Rocky Road, or if you once dated the Bride or Groom.   What a wedding!  Congrats to Alex and Kelly, and to Bethie, Rob, Pam and Joe.   Mazel Fucking Tov.  Sorry Chayim. After the wedding we left for Greece.  A stop before the Asher Taub Bar -Mitzvah in Prague.  I did mention how grateful I am....

Berlin 2

New tour guide in Berlin.  His name is Yohanus ("J-Yo").  He's fantastic.  Not easy to wrangle 29 of us.  We started the day on a walking tour of Berlin.  This is Humboldt University of Berlin.  Max and Ethan know a lot about what they do at Humboldt.  What happens at Humboldt stays at Humboldt. It's in a cool square.  In the middle they have a memorial where some idiots burned 20,000 books that were from Jewish authors (and others) that did not support the Nazi bowel movement.  J-Yo informed us there were only 2 books remaining on the empty shelves. 1) Mein Kampf and 2) Nazi's for Dummies. Picture of the Burn Session Memorial of Empty Shelves J-Yo actually brought pictures with him to help bring to life historical meaning.  The group had previously not been accustomed to that level of tour guide behavior.  Sorry.
