Day 2


Good morning.  Still jet lagged.  But as Wendy says, "That's like crying on a yacht."   Whayyyyyyyyyyyy you're jet lagged.  Whayyyyyyyyyyy my eggs are cold.

Flying today from Athens to Mykonos.
They served this snack on the plane that Evan loved and I hated.  It was peanut - based I think.

It reminded me of the time when I was on a long flight home and they announced that they could not serve peanuts on the flight because someone had a very serious peanut allergy.

Jokingly, I said to the woman next to me, "Don't worry I have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich we can share."  Yep.  I was sitting next to Peanut Allergy Woman.  What are the odds?  She hated me.


Evan, take mine
Reid wants the blog to be more interactive.  So let's play a new game called "Sorry?"  You have to choose if the situation warrants:
                     a) Sorry (enough just to say I'm sorry); or
                     b) No Sorry (no sorry needed); or
                     c) BM (Big Mistake, Bowel Movement, Sorry not enough) 

It feels like everyone is playing Sorry? these days.  For example..

I was excited to get to Mykonos because I found out one of my besties is here also.


We are staying at the Santa Marina Hotel.  If you steal a towel and get caught is it Sorry, No Sorry, or BM?

Julia coined the phrase, "I A - Greece."  So Brad says, "Anyone up for an Ouzo shot?."  Julia says, "I A - Greece"

This place is beautiful.  Our room is up there near the top.  And every bungalow gets a boat!
Not.  No boats.  But amazing views...  Very grateful to be here.  Thank you Asher Taub for being born and becoming the main inspiration for this trip.  Can't wait for your big day.

Hi everyone.  It's blog time.  I love to blog our trips to capture moments, provide recommendations to others, and to remind myself how lucky I am.  We've had a whirlwind couple days.  It started Friday with the Fiance Disco Pre-Wedding Night Party.  Rob and Beth won for best outfit. That was actually their wedding photo.  I wasn't invited to their wedding years ago, but I did get the invite to Alex and Kelly's.  It was an amazing event. I love this pic.  I love this couple.  Wedding crowds are similar to ice cream crowds.  Everyone's in a great mood.  Except if they're out of Rocky Road, or if you once dated the Bride or Groom.   What a wedding!  Congrats to Alex and Kelly, and to Bethie, Rob, Pam and Joe.   Mazel Fucking Tov.  Sorry Chayim. After the wedding we left for Greece.  A stop before the Asher Taub Bar -Mitzvah in Prague.  I did mention how grateful I am....

Berlin 2

New tour guide in Berlin.  His name is Yohanus ("J-Yo").  He's fantastic.  Not easy to wrangle 29 of us.  We started the day on a walking tour of Berlin.  This is Humboldt University of Berlin.  Max and Ethan know a lot about what they do at Humboldt.  What happens at Humboldt stays at Humboldt. It's in a cool square.  In the middle they have a memorial where some idiots burned 20,000 books that were from Jewish authors (and others) that did not support the Nazi bowel movement.  J-Yo informed us there were only 2 books remaining on the empty shelves. 1) Mein Kampf and 2) Nazi's for Dummies. Picture of the Burn Session Memorial of Empty Shelves J-Yo actually brought pictures with him to help bring to life historical meaning.  The group had previously not been accustomed to that level of tour guide behavior.  Sorry.
