Berlin 3 and Farewell

On a Rolling Stone's high.  I decided to sleep in, while others decided to visit the Jewish Museum of Berlin.
 

What's a Fake Jew?  I think it's the opposite of an anti-semite?  Hmm...Who would want to fake being Jewish?  Maybe someone that wants to scalp tickets to high holidays?  I just go on Rosh Hashana Hub.

I got reports that the museum was average.  Most spoke about the Holocaust memorial exhibit, where you walked on art that represented the victims.  Fuck You Hitler. 

When I met up with the crew, they were deep into their devices.  Good thing that my "prisoner of your own device" message was making such an impact.

This afternoon, we went on a food and drink tour of Berlin.  Lucien and Petra hosted.  They were great.  We started by train.

Our first stop was at a neighborhood food court.  And to my surprise and enjoyment they served...

We get to celebrate 2 Birthdays and an Anniversary.  That's better than 2 Weddings and a Funeral.  Unless you are in a bad marriage.  I'm not a marriage counselor, but if you ever prefer to attend a funeral vs. celebrating your wedding anniversary, it's probably time to move on.

Petra, our guide, then lead us to her favorite Turkish influenced sandwich shop.  

Some of us left to go watch Germany vs. Sweden World Cup soccer.  Others continued on the Bethie birthday celebration

Germany beat Sweden in extra time.  It looked like a shocking ending.  

Trevor - Birthday #2.  The cousins decided to hit the clubs in celebration of Trevor's birthday.

  And without Jeremy, I heard the night wouldn't have come together.  Jeremy wins MVC.  Most valuable cousin.

I heard that Trevor blew out his first candle around midnight and his last around around 4am.  What happens at Trevor's birthday party, stays at Trevor's birthday party

Wendy and Jeff Wedding Anniversary.  Good morning and Happy Anniversary Sunshine.  It's not everyday you get to spend your anniversary with family on an art tour of Berlin.  Asher and I decided to give each other German fake names for the tour...

I also had time to do some anniversary shopping on the tour.  I know how much Wendy loves shoes.

We ended the tour over looking the river and having lunch.

Off to start our trip home.  Broudy's are taking Cami with us and stopping in London for a night.

My Sweet Sunshine Happy Anniversary

Time to say goodbye and head home to Sparky.  We missed you Uncle Ivan and Aunt Merkie.  I hope the blog helped you keep up with our trip and everyone has pics and stories to share. 

To all my travel mates.  Thank you for making these last two weeks epic. Pearls, Greece was the pre-game of all pre-games.  Asher, you crushed the BM.  Bro-in-Law's, you all rock and keep the belly laughs coming.  Lisa and Josh, thanks for making this happen.  And to Wendy, Julia and Reid...
